Youthful Hairstyles For Women Over 60

Sharing is caring!

Youthful hairstyles for women over 60, is what we all want to achieve. We want to look our most beautiful, with less effort, if at all possible.

Because of the shutdown of our state,(due to the Coronavirus Pandemic), those of us who are not hairstylist are ready, beyond ready to have our hair cut, colored and styled. As well, as having a manicure and pedicure however, that’s another subject for another time.

I know I am besides myself with my look right now. I checked with my stylist, whom I thought, since I had an appointment with her, for early May (which had to be cancelled), I would surely, get a quick new appointment. But, no, she said it would be June 23, before she could get me in. Well, that would be exactly a month and a day away. I just can’t do it.

So, while I attempt to find a stylist (whomever they may be, at this point), I went on a YouTube search, for youthful hairstyles for women over 60, to see if there was a style I may be in the mood to try.

This is a YouTube video, I found about 2020 Younger Looking Hairstyles For Women over several age groups, including 60 years old. Take a look and see if there is a new style, you would like to explore.

My hair is shoulder length and I would like to have color (highlights and low lights) and keep the length, just shape up my bangs and long layers. At least, that is what I am thinking now. However, once I am in the chair, at this point, I might be talked into anything. When I get desperate for a clean look, sometimes I go for something, I wished I hadn’t later. But, it’s hair and it will grow back. It may take some time for it to get back to where you want to try another style, but by then, there will be new hairstyles coming out.

Have you ever had that experience? Anyway, I have been trying to be patient, but at this point, I am over it. I am going to find whomever will get me in for what I need and go for it! Life is too short to fret over it!

When our state and country is better than normal and I believe it will be, I can be more dedicated to one stylist, but until then, I am at the mercy of whomever is available and is willing to work with this hair of mine.

The thing is, my hair is natural curly. It is extremely curly to the root. Some stylist either don’t know how to deal with it, or don’t want to deal with it. Honestly, I don’t blame them, if they don’t want to deal with it, because it’s a lot of work, especially if you want it straightened (which I do).

So, wish me luck in my pursuit! Once, I have this mission accomplished, I will post several pictures of my new hairstyle for your review and comments.

Be blessed
